So I didn’t get around to posting my favorite Valentine’s Day treat, sorry. The day just slipped away from me. But I did manage to make a special dinner for my {lovah}.

I even pulled out the china. I don’t think I’d done that since last Valentine’s Day! Yikes!

I set a simple, pretty table and threw together a quick centerpiece of succulents, tulips and jasmine.

I made pot roast for the first time. My Mum told me how to do it over the phone in about three minutes. She was totally right, it was ridiculously easy. I ran to the market to pick up a chuck roast and some veggies– three hours later, the house smelled glorious and we were dining!

I didn’t have time to make dessert, but Trader Joe’s always comes through. Cheesecake to the rescue! It was a lovely evening and so nice to spend some time around the dinner table with my {lovah}. Hope your Valentine’s Day was special, too!
