Browsing the World Wide Web

by: Lauryl Lane

I’ve finally done it. I’ve caved, I’ve done what I said I would never do: I’ve joined Twitter. I can hardly believe it. I’ve resisted the Twitter phenomena for a long time now, convinced that it was “just a fad,” and that if I ignored it long enough, it would simply go away.

But it’s not going away- at least not anytime soon, and I finally decided it was time to join the rest of my wedding industry peers and start “twittering.” I haven’t quite gotten the hang of it yet, but I will get there eventually. You can follow me as I jabber about flowers and weddings and inspiration: floraorganica on twitter. It might be fun. Maybe.

One thing I have found that I absolutely DO like about Twitter is that I’m suddenly surrounded by people who love the wedding industry just as much as I do, and these people are quite generous about sharing inspiration and resources. Today I came across a tweet (is that lingo correct, “tweet”?) that linked to a stunning 1920’s themed wedding. I am gaga for themed weddings/events/parties these days, so I just about flipped with joy over these images. Check them out- aren’t they grand?

Thanks to Twitter, I’ll surely have more to share with you soon!
