My girlfriends and I watched Sex and the City together religiously during our college days, so it seemed quite appropriate to eat at Cafeteria during a recent "reunion" weekend together in New York City. The restaurant figured into many episodes of Sex and the City as it was a regular location for Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte's gossipy brunches. The food was just as good as we imagined it would be: true comfort food with an upscale twist. We shared a number of delicious brunch items and finished our meal off with a decadent dessert in the form of deep fried oreos. The light, bright, modern ambiance of the restaurant paired with the unusual drinks and delicious bites made this spot an instant favorite!
